“I Don’t See Khamzat As Boogeyman” Du Plessis Challenges Khamzat

Dricus Du Plessis has challenged Khamzat Chimaev and said that he is ready to fight with him and defeat him.

The story started when Khamzat tweeted mentioning Du Plessis. He tweeted Good morning and mentioned Du Plessis. The tweet came when Du Plessis defended his UFC title by defeating Sean Strickland. Du Plessis does not seem to be pleased with the tweet as he replies with the viral meme, “brother, Eww.”

Du Plessis does not stop there. He said in the Ariel Helwani show that he can easily defeat Khamzat and he is not a boogeyman as people think of him. He said that he only sees in himself the potential to make his career great. He is not impressed by Khamzat being undefeated and the fans’ favorite.

Du Plessis admitted the fact that Khamzat fights really well at the beginning of the match. He said that he could counter him because he also fought really well at the start of the match. He advised Khamzat that he should also be able to fight really hard in the last rounds of the match. Du Plessis said that he has proved himself that he can fight really well in the last rounds of the match and he can prove that against Khamzat too.

Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev are both great UFC fighters. The interesting thing is that they both are undefeated in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Things are getting heated up between the two undefeated UFC fighters. If the clash happens between the two UFC fighters, then the match could be one of the biggest matches of the year 2025.
