Biography

She began BJJ in 1999, at the age of 16 years old in Vila Velha, Espirito Santo Brazil. She enjoyed BJJ very much. She took many classes, and competed in some tournaments as a white belt for almost two years before receiving a blue belt. At 19 years old she had to leave BJJ for several reasons. Some reasons include becoming a mother, lacking money to pay the BJJ school. Social life became a higher priority. She indulged in alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs for several years.

In 2009, at 28 years of age, living in London completely drug addicted, needed to make a decision to leave the life of drugs. First, she went to a Rehab Drug Clinic. Then, once again, she joined BJJ and began to live a healthier lifestyle. She returned to BJJ as a blue belt in Roger Gracie Academy in London, after a big break of nearly 10 years. She competed in many tournaments in UK, but unfortunately, she had to return to Brazil after her visa expired.

In Brazil, she continued to train BJJ and competed in all major IBBJF tournaments for the next four years. Subsequently, she earned a purple belt, won two Brazilians No-Gi titles, competing always for Gracie Barra School. She moved to the USA and became an American Citizen and competed in many Majors Tournaments such as Worlds, Adults & Masters, Pan Ams, IBJJF Opens, Naga and the professional Fight 2 Win. She is currently starting the college of architecture and keeping a busy schedule between classes and training. She will begin training MMA.

Question: How long have you been training?

Answer: Started 20 years ago but active 10 years

Question: Who inspires you, past or present? Why do they inspire you?

Answer: Mohamed Ali, Malcon X, Bob Marley, Tupac. And Because they overcame many obstacles in their lives.

Question: What inspires you about BJJ? MMA?

Answer: The power of persue and overcome my limits.

Question: What are your goals for this year? Next 3 years? Next 5 years?

Answer: start my architecture degree, keeping compete in BJJ pursuing to be a WORLD CHAMPION, start my MMA training. Get my college degree, my black belt, many golds Have my own martial art school

Question: Any major accomplishments you’ve been able to achieve in that time?

Answer: Be a World Champion in BJJ

Answer: 2, 3 hours day

Answer: Mohamed Ali.

Question: What do you think it takes to be a champion in your sports?

Answer: Constance and focus in training every day.

Question: What is the meaning of success near you?

Answer: Get my Black Belt in BJJ and my architecture degree completion.

Answer: Elite Head Gear, Mouth Gear, Bottle Water. And Yes, I have different items for specific days like, Gloves, Elite Shin Guards for Muay Thai classes
