Biography

I am a family father, married and with two beautiful ones to Maria Helena and Maria Clara, who are my greatest pride and inspiration to fight. I graduated in Physical Education, I teach in a social project called Fight for Good that helps children and young people to have a better life. Jiu-Jitsu training since the age of 7, where I had to leave for a period, but as soon as I returned, I did not stop, I received my black belt with 23 years and today I take a professional life in the sport, I am very happy to be part from Team Elite.

Question: What inspires you about BJJ?

Answer:The adrenaline of the sport.

Question: Who inspires you, past or present?

Answer:I'm inspired by Rodolfo Vieira.

Question:Why do they inspire you?

Answer:For having a progressive game and being a really "different" guy.

Question: What are your goals for this year? Next 3 years? Next 5 years?

Answer:I intend to win some expressive titles in the sport.

Question: How long have you been training?

Answer: I started with 7 years of age, I spent some time stopped, but training time should be about 16 years.

Question: How often do you train?

Answer: Training on average 2 times a day.

Question: Any major accomplishments you’ve been able to achieve in that time?

Answer: I did not just do it in the sport, but I got a beautiful family too.

Question: Do you have a go-to finishing move?

Answer:I really like the footprint behind my back.

Question: What do you think it takes to be a champion in your sports?

Answer: Resilience.

Question: What sort of gear do you usually keep in your gym bag before hitting the gym? Do you have different items for specific days?

Answer: I always take two GI, towel, tape and an energy repository.
