Ffion Davies and Morgan Black will face off in the category of no-gi bantamweight. On May 18, 2024, top contenders in jiu-jitsu will return to action at the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) 4.
The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship ADXC revealed the mystery that the fourth edition of ADXC will land in the French capital city of Paris. The chosen stage for the competition is just a few kilometers from Effiel Tower. Ffion Davies and Morgan Black will lead the co-main event in a bantamweight tilt.
Ffion Davies is a martial arts artist and a Welsh submission grappler. Davies is an American black belt under Marcelo Motta and currently training under JT Torres , she is a jiu-jitsu World Champion. Davies won the IBJJF World Championships several times. In 2023 she won the title of no gi championship in the category of absolute division and 61 kg.
Ffion Davies has won the ADCC world championship, she made her third appearance in the tournament and won in the division of -60kg. Davies is the current Polaris and Who’s Number One WNO champion. Wales native has demonstrated herself as the top contender in the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu . She has picked up spectacular victories throughout her career. She became the first European to win the Brazilian National, Davies made a list of impressive victories over the best competitors for intense; IBJJF no-gi world champion Gabi McComb, ADCC veteran Nikki Lloyd-Griffiths, and ADCC silver medalist Brianna Ste-Marie.
Morgan Black will be standing across her in the cage, Black is a runner-up in ADCC West Coast Trials 2024. Her gold medal achievement at the 2023 ADCC East Coast Trails has solidified her identity in the elite division.
Black remains part of the main jiu-jitsu tournaments around the world. She will make her debut in the event of ADXC. Black is considered the best BJJ competitor, she won the title of no gi black belt world championship in the year of 2018 and 2021. Morgan Black rose to prominence by facing the greatest competitors of the current and previous generation.
Black is the queen of the guard passing she has absolute control of the takedowns. Moreover, she possesses the skill set of a guard player. The fearless submission hunter is best in her work in the top control.
Her greatest obstacle to date will be Davies, but Morgan Black is prepared to undermine the Welsh’s reign in the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship ADXC. an interesting clash between wrestling and judo will amaze the onlookers.
The fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship will take place in the heart of France on 18th May, it will broadcast live on TX7.ae .
The jiu-jitsu Main Event will be spearheaded by Leon Larman and Espen Mathiesen.
