In anticipation of the upcoming 2022 No-Gi World Championships, set to begin on December 8th and end on December 11th, the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) has released the official brackets on bjjcompsystem.com.
The participants will include male and female fighters from the blue, purple, brown, and black belt divisions. The participants will be separated and paired with opponents that match their weight class and age group.
Age Divisions
The age divisions include the following: Juvenile 1, Juvenile 2, Adult, Master 1, Master 2, Master 3, Master 4, Master 5, Master 6, and Master 7.

Weight Divisions
The weight divisions include the following: rooster, light feather, feather, light, medium, medium heavy, heavy, super heavy, and ultra heavy.
The weight requirements for roosterweight competitors are 103 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 114 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, 122.6 lbs for Adult/Master Male, 103 lbs for Adult/Master Female, and 94 lbs for Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
The weight requirements for light featherweight competitors are 114 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 125 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, 136 lbs for Adult/Master Male, 114 lbs for Adult/Master Female, and 103 lbs for Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
The weight requirements for featherweight competitors are 125 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 136 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, 149 lbs for Adult/Master Male, 125 lbs for Adult/Master Female, and 111.6 lbs for Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
The weight requirements for lightweight competitors are 136 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 147 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, 162.6 lbs for Adult/Master Male, 136 lbs for Adult/Master Female, and 120.6 lbs for Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
The weight requirements for mediumweight competitors are 147 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 158 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, 175.6 lbs for Adult/Master Male, 147 lbs for Adult/Master Female, and 129 lbs for Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
The weight requirements for medium heavyweight competitors are 158 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 169 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, 188.6 lbs for Adult/Master Male, 158 lbs for Adult/Master Female, and 138 lbs for Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
The weight requirements for heavyweight competitors are 169 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 180 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, 202 lbs for Adult/Master Male, 169 lbs for Adult/Master Female, and 147 lbs for Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
The weight requirements for super heavyweight competitors are 180 lbs for Juvenile 1 Male, 191 lbs for Juvenile 2 Male, and 215 lbs for Adult/Master Male. There are no weight requirements for Adult/Master Female and Juvenile 1 and 2 Female.
There are no weight requirements for ultra heavyweight competitors for any of the age and gender divisions.

On December 9th, the following divisions will take the stage:
- Purple Belt Master 3, 4, & 5 Male & Female (6 & 7 Male)
- Brown Belt Adult Male & Female
- Black Belt Master 1, 2, & 3 Male & Female
On December 10th, the following divisions will take the stage:
- Blue Belt Juvenile 1 & 2 Male & Female
- Blue Belt Master 4 & 5 Male & Female (6 & 7 Male)
- Purple Belt Juvenile 1 & 2 Male & Female
- Purple Belt Adult Male
- Black Belt Adult Male & Female
- Black Belt Master 4 & 5 Male & Female (6 & 7 Male)
On December 11th, the following divisions will take the stage:
- Black Belt Finals
