Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitu of Miami Lakes Aces in IBJJF Pan Championship

Miami Lakes, Florida, 19 April 2023 – Rilion Gracie Miami Lakes Jiu-Jitsu Academy participated in the 2023 IBJJF Pan Championship. The championship took place from 22 to 26 March at the Silver Spur Arena in Kissimmee. Rilion Gracie Miami Lakes aced in the championship by winning 11 medals: 4 gold, 1 silver, and 6 bronze.


The academy ranked second in the Novice category of the championship.

“The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Pan Championship is one of the world’s largest tournaments. We fielded a team of 16 competitors and brought back home many medals and an overall Pan 2nd place Novice trophy.”

Christian A Rodriguez and Roberto Ruiz are a few names from the champion list of the academy. This academy was founded in 1994, with the aim of producing champions and making it to the world charters. The students from the academy claim how Rilion Gracie Miami Lakes has played an important part in shaping their future.


The classes at Rilion Gracie Miami Lakes are versatile in nature, ranging from kids to self-defense classes, BJJ and MMA. The academy’s performance at the championship is proof of its practitioner's as well as instructors' struggle. Carlos Ramirez aims to bring his academy to the highest level.
