The sport of wrestling is ever-evolving. It has introduced many superstars in recent years. Wrestling is a sport that has many fans around the world. From youngsters to adults to old people, everyone loves to watch the sport. The reason that the game has been becoming popular for many years is because of the unique styles of many WWE superstars, which were loved by the fans, and they loved watching them play. Wrestling is not a new sport. It has a very old history. Many great wrestlers came and went, marking their names in the history of WWE wrestling. But which are the top ten wrestlers to have ever walked into the wrestling ring? 1. Wrestling

Wrestling is a martial arts sport. It is a form of entertainment for people. It is a combat sport in which two fighters fight with each other. They grapple. Wrestling has many styles and forms which are different from each other on the basis of the rule set. However, there are a lot of styles of wrestling. But there are only two styles which are most common and are featured in the Olympic games. Following are some famous and most common styles of wrestling;

2.1 Freestyle Wrestling

This form of wrestling is featured in the Olympic games and is only one of the two forms to be played in the Olympic games. In freestyle wrestling, a fighter or a wrestler can use their legs or their opponent’s legs to attack their opponent or defend themselves against an attack by their opponent. In this style of wrestling, a wrestler can win by holding their opponent’s scapula down on the ground. A wrestler earns points on the basis of throws, holding their opponent down, amplitude, etc.

2.2 Greco-Roman Wrestling

This is the second and last form of wrestling that is featured in the Olympic games. In this form of wrestling, a wrestler cannot attack their opponent below the belt. Passive use of the legs is allowed. Just like in freestyle wrestling, a player can win if they hold both their opponent’s scapula on the mat.

2.3 Submission Wrestling

Submission wrestling is the same as the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It is also termed as the grappling . This form of wrestling is played in two forms: Gi and No Gi. In Gi, there is a uniform that players have to wear for playing a professional match. In No Gi, there are no uniform restrictions. Everyone can wear whatever they want. In this style of wrestling, many techniques are incorporated from various other wrestling styles.

There are various other styles of wrestling that are not very famous and not as common as the above styles. Their forms or styles of wrestling include catch wrestling, arm wrestling, judo , sumo, cornish wrestling, Scottish backhold, and Turkish wrestling.
