Two times UFC championship winner Dominick Cruz said that he wants one more dance to say goodbye to his legendary UFC career.
While giving an interview to TMZ Sports, he said that he might play in early 2025.
“Over the next few months or so, in early 2025, I will tell you I think I got a last dance. I want one last dance in me. I just go out there and have fun, and when I say fun, I mean fight to the bitter death and see what I have in me, and that’s fun comes, you know, months after that. That’s when it gets to in and be like, okay, that was fun. But you know I am ready to walk into the fire again and see what life and death look like, and one more go at that will be a pleasure.”
Cruz also said that he was training for his last match. He also admired new-age fighters.
“So, I am building myself up. I am at altitude; I am out here in Mexico City. It was some of the best training I have ever had in my whole career. I like these new-age fighters. It's different, man; they have various tools to prepare them. I got heart rate monitors on me that I had never seen in my whole life. I feel like Russian. I have got wires all over me. Every new cadet receives this level of preparation.”
Dominant Cruz is an American Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) who played in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
