Dustin Poirier thinks his time to say goodbye to his legendary UFC career has finally come. He is ready for one last dance in front of his millions of UFC fans. Dustin has enjoyed a long UFC career of incredibly 14 years. He has revealed the details of his UFC retirement plans.
While giving his recent interview to his fans, Dustin has shared his retirement wishes. Now, fans are impatiently waiting for the final UFC fight of his fourteen year long UFC career.
When a reporter asked Dustin about his coming UFC clash, he said that he would drop it. He said that:
“I will drop it. It is summer. July or August, probably.”
Dustin expressed his wish that he want to have the final match of his UFC career in his home state, New Orleans.
“We are working on UFC New Orleans. I am trying to retire in my home state.”
Dustin said that he wants to retire at the place where he started his UFC career and that is New Orleans, city of Louisiana.
“The UFC hasn’t been there since 2015. I fought on the card as well. I fought Yancy Medeiros, but that was the last time I got to fight at home. To retire where it all started in Louisiana would be incredible for me and my career.”
