Jake also mentioned some of his coaches in his retirement announcement. He thanked them for being with him and training him all these years.

Jake Shore enjoyed his UFC career with impressive figures of 17-3. He lost only three matches. Surprisingly, he faced these three losses in the last stage of his career. Out of his last four matches, he managed to win only one match and lost three matches.

A few days after losing the third match, he decided to retire and posted it on Instagram. He played his last career match against Youssef Zalal, who defeated him in the second round via submission.

Jake also got few nicknames in his career such as “Tank” and “Welsh GSP”. He was named tank because his fighting style was similar to former mixed martial artist Tank Abbott. He is often called as Jake Tank Shore. He got the nickname “Welsh GSP’ because he was compared with Georges St-Pierre. He is a Welsh UFC fighter. Hence the nickname “Welsh GSP”.

Although he had an impressive career, Jake could not end his career on a winning note.
