2.1. Erin Blanchfield's Early Life

In 1999, Erin Blanchfield was born on May 4, in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, America. She was an active and energetic child; from the beginning, she was fond of extracurricular activities. Noticing the inclination of Blanchfeild toward martial arts, her parents encouraged her and she started training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu when Erin was only seven years old.

2.2. Erin Blanchfield's Interest in Kickboxing

Just after two years, Erin wanted to understand various sports, so she commenced her kickboxing training. A full-content martial arts enhanced her striking skill, the combination of boxing and kicking inspired her. Erin has explored the benefits of self-defense sports that enhance physical fitness, and she has acquired more confidence. 

2.3. Erin Blanchfield's BJJ Training

Erin Blanchfield realized that the martial arts jiu-jitsu is a versatile sport, and she pursued her career in it. Erin took the jiu-jitsu training from Silver Fox BJJ; while promoted in her ranks, Erin realized that she should work more to improve her skill set.


At the age of twelve, she saw the light and perceived that she would pursue a career in professional fighting. Erin Blanchfield switched her academy and became a representative of Renzo Gracie Academy. She was under the instruction of a renowned coach Karel Pravec.

Mixed martial arts fighter Erin Blanchfield is a passionate athlete who has shown prowess on the mat Erin always wanted to enhance her physical and mental endurance. For that purpose, she spent her time in two training centers. The representative of Renzo Gracie Academy also spent time in Pravec gym. Blanchfield was promoted to black belt under the legendary coach Karel Pravec.

Erin always wanted to evolve her grappling techniques, so she started to appear in the grappling and kickboxing tournaments at an early age. She fought in various fighting championships and set the record for remaining unbeatable 1 - 0.

2.6. Erin Blanchfield's MMA Career

In a relatively shorter duration, Erin started to fight under the Invicta Fighting Championships. Erin Blanchfield made a debut in March 2018; she appeared in Invicta FC 30 Erin squared off against Brittney Cloudy. With her dynamic performance, he squared off the top contender marking a victory by split decision.


Erin Blanchfield has appeared in fourteen fights and won twelve; most wins are through decision and submission. Just after two years, Blanchfield has appeared in Invicta FC 39, which has taken her on a new journey. Erin was against Victoria Leonardo the bout ended with a knockout method, and Erin targeted the head with the kick that led her to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Erin Blanchfield has signed a contract with UFC and she was expected to appear in the UFC on ABC: Vettori vs. Holland in 2021. In a short period of time, she had to make a debut but the fight did not continue against Norma Dumont due to the opponent missing a weight.


After that, she stepped into the octagon in September 2021 and started to set spectacular records. Erin has won most of the fights with her exceptional takedown method. Erin Blanchfield has distinguished herself by setting a single-fight takedown record in the women’s flyweight division; she has won with eight takedowns.
