Francisco Jose Mansor has been part of Brazilain jiu-jitsu for over five decades, Master Francisco is a 9th-degree red belt in BJJ. He is a student of Master Helio Gracie, he has the prestige of getting the rank directly from Helio Gracie. Mansor is the sixth member outside the Gracie family who has received a professor degree from a Grand Master.
Master Francisco Jose is the founder of “Academia Kioto de Jiu-Jitsu”. Mansor is the founder of a jiu-jitsu training center named “Kioto”, considered one of the leading training academies of BJJ. Francisco Jose is the president of the “Master Council”

In a ceremony, Jose Mansor was formally introduced to BJJ. Francisco Jose took a break from his studies and switched to jiu-jitsu. He was only fifteen years old when he started training under the legendary Master Helio Gracie. They have spent fifty-eight years together. Master Francisco regards Helio Gracie as his second father.
