Kade Ruotolo to Make MMA Debut Against Blake Cooper Scheduled At ONE 167

Young BJJ Grappling Star Kade Ruotolo will compete against Blake Cooper at ONE 167. The One lightweight submission grappling world champion is making a MMA debut on June 7, 2024, at Impact Arena. Kade Ruotolo is all set for Mixed Martial Arts.

In the ONE 167 tournament, a stylish clash will showcase Ruotolo with the combination of jiu-jitsu and striking , on the other side Cooper will confront with his wrestling skills. The achievements of Kade Ruotolo are making the seasoned veterans envious; as he added a feather to his cap by defeating top grappler Francisco Lo . At One Fight Night 21 Ruotolo faced the toughest bout when he encountered Lo. It is quite evident that he fought long and hard to extend his impressive run to secure the victory. 

One Championship announced the exciting news in a recent post on its official Instagram account that Kade Ruotolo is making a debut in professional MMA at One 167:

21-year-old Kade Routolo has been part of jiu-jitsu since he was a child. An American submission grappler and black belt BJJ athlete is competing along with his twin brother at the age of 3. He has visibly improved his skills and become the best grappler. In the history of jiu-jitsu, he has reached a milestone by becoming the youngest ADCC Submission Fighting World Champion at the age of 19. It will be an exciting encounter between two emerging contenders. A major shift of Ruotolo in MMA will boost his career. He will face the tough competitor Cooper in Bangkok. Ruotolo's distinctive skills will act as an intriguing weapon in the MMA arsenal.

At ONE 167 inside the Impact Arena Bangkok, will also feature super contenders like Tawanchai PK Saenchai, Mikey Musumeci, Johan Ghazali, and Stamp Fairtex. Musumesi will compete with Gabrial Sousa. Tawanchai will be defending Jo Nattawut, Stamp will be standing against Denice Zamboanga.

Blake Copper has demonstrated his proficient skills in amateur and professional MMA circuits. Copper became part of MMA in 2019. He has depicted solid striking skills and therefore appears as the biggest challenge for Rutolo's MMA debut.
