2. Kayron Gracie’s Biography
Kayron Gracie belongs to the family who is the pioneer of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the Gracie family. Kayron Gracie is World Champion and American Champion in his Black Belt and Colored Belt career. Now he is coaching Gracie Barra and also posts instructional videos on Gracie Barra's website and YouTube.
2.1. Son of Carlos Gracie Junior
Kayron Gracie is the grandson of Carlos Gracie, the founder, and pioneer of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is the eldest and only son of Carlos Gracie Junior.
2.2. Athletic Childhood
Kayron Gracie started training in his childhood. His first passion was surfing but he also continued BJJ training as well. He trained with his various family members, cousins, and uncles.
He further mentioned in an interview that he started training when he started walking so he did not remember the day when he started training. He grew up in his father’s academy where he jumped between two guys who were rolling BJJ.
2.3. Only Son of Carlinhos having Black Belt
Carlos Gracie junior who is the honor of Gracie Barra and also owns the headship of IBJJF has three children. One daughter named Caroline and two sons named Kayron and Kyan. Out of these three children, Kayron Gracie is the only BJJ Black Belt.
2.4. Association with IBJJF and Gracie Barra
As Carlinhos is the owner of IBJJF and Gracie Barra, his son is also associated with IBJJF and Gracie Barra. He is the only son of Carlinhos who is Black Belt so perhaps the next head of IBJJF and Gracie Barra.
2.5. Connection with Marcio Feitosa
Kayron admitted that Marcio Feitosa is the person who is very much involved in Kayron’s BJJ training. Marcio Feitosa is a BJJ coach in Gracie Barra. Though Kayron received his Black Belt from his father.
2.6. Started Coaching at a Young Age
Kayron went to the US at the age of 17. He continued his BJJ fighting career in which he continued to win various tournaments. But he also started his coaching career at Gracie Barra.

Promoted to Black Belt
Kayron Gracie was promoted to Black Belt in October 2009 when he was 21 years old. He received this honor at the hands of his father, Carlos Gracie Junior.
Four-Times Champion in Juvenile Championship
Kayron Gracie participated and won his first IBJJF championship when he was 7 years old. He won four IBJJF Brazilian National Juvenile Championships when he was in the Yellow, Orange, and Blue Belt divisions.
Four Times Pan American Champion
Kayron Gracie is three times IBJJF Pan American Champion in the Blue, Purple and Black Belt divisions 2006, 2007, and 2010 respectively.
IBJJF World Champion 2008
Kayron Gracie won his World Championship in 2008 in the Brow Belt division and represented Gracie Barra. He is a middleweight champion who achieved big victories in the middleweight category.
Online Coaching and instructional Videos
Kayron Gracie started his online coaching sessions on the Gracie Barra website. His online instructional videos are also on YouTube and are available to every person.

3.1. Kayron Gracie Vs. Brian J Beauty
Kayron Gracie faced Brian Beaury in the final of Boston Spring 2015. They fought in the middleweight category.
Kayron took an energetic start and applied full guard and pulled down Brian on the ground. Brian tried his best to get escaped but Kayron turned around along with Brian and took an upper position. He scored two points for this fantastic takedown and also scored four points for full mount.
Brian escaped from his full mount soon but Kayron did not let him leave the ground. Brian tried to strangle Kayron’s leg but Kayron reversed his technique and submitted him with Botinha.

3.2. Kayron Gracie Vs. Vitor Toledo
Kayron faced Vitor Toledo in Pan Championship 2012. At the start of the match, Toledo wanted to apply full guard but Kayron played excellently and did not let him apply close guard. Kayron applied half-guard and took a very balanced position. Toledo made a great effort to escape but could not.
When Toledo succeeded in escaping, Kayron did not let him overcome him but took his back. Kayron submitted Toledo with Collar Choke.

3.3. Kron Gracie Vs. Nathan Mendelsohn
In the final of the Asian Championship 2017, Kayron Gracie faced Nathan Mendelsohn. Nathan had high morale at the beginning of the match. Kayron found it difficult to overcome him. Kayron tried to apply full guard but Nathan did not let him accomplish his desire and take him down.
Kayron tried to escape and Nathan took this opportunity and tried to strangle him from the back. Kyron turned around and did not let his back be exposed to Nathan. Kayron took down Nathan and scored two points.
Both sportsmen executed a great grappling performance at this moment. Nathan tried to escape from the grip of Kayron but did not let him escape. At the end of the match, Kayron submitted Nathan with an arm in Ezekiel.
