2. Davi Ramos’ Biography
Davi Ramos is a 4th-Degree BJJ Black Belt under Master Cesar Guimaraes, also known as Casquinha. Ramos internationally represented “Top Brother” and “Atos Jiu-Jitsu”. He is famous for his fast and explosive fighting style. He won many ADCC and ACBJJ championships.
2.1. Davi Ramos’ Early Life
Davi Ramos was born on 5th November 1986 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Discovered BJJ
At a very young age, he adopted BJJ as a combat sport. Due to learning BJJ at a very young age, his fighting techniques were refined and sleek.
Trained under Master Casquinha at Top Brother
He was trained by Master Cesar Guimaraes, Casquinha, at Top Brother academy when he was only 10 years old. Master Casquinha was the one who brought Davi Ramos up through the BJJ belt ranks and eventually to Black Belt. Master Casquinha is the founder of Top Brother academy and the son of Walter Guimaraes, Carlson Gracie’s Black Belt.
Became an Ambassador of Master Casquinha’s Academy
Davi Ramos was the top representative and ambassador of Top Brother academy. He also competed abroad representing Top Brother academy.
Opened Top Brother Academy
Davi Ramos was the first to open an affiliation of Top Brother academy in Mexico, outside of Brazil.
Davi Ramos Jiu-Jitsu Academy
Davi Ramos opened his own BJJ academy in Brazil named Davi Ramos Jiu-Jitsu academy.

Davi Ramos, a professional MMA fighter is known as the “Tasmanian Devil” for his explosive fighting style. He competes in the lightweight division of UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).
Professional Debut in MMA
Davi Ramos made his professional MMA debut in July 2010. He won 6 out of 7 fights over the six-year span. In his second fight for the promotion, he defeated Chris Grurzemacher via Rear Naked Choke submission on 9th December 2017 at the UFC Fight Night Swanson Vs. Ortega.
UFC Debut In March 2017
Davi Ramos made his UFC debut in March 2017. He lost the fight to Sergio Moraes via unanimous decision.
2.3. Davi Ramos’ Pro BJJ Combats
Joined Atos Jiu-Jitsu
Davi Ramos was an excellent and trained grappler but because of his less exposure to BJJ techniques as he was a former MMA fighter, he joined Atos Jiu-Jitsu to finetune his BJJ skills and techniques in 2010. Atos Jiu-Jitsu was already famous as one of BJJ's strongest and toughest Academies. And this fact brought more exposure to Davi Ramos’s BJJ skills.

Davi Ramos won first place at CBJJ Brazilian Nationals No-Gi in 2010.
IBJJF Chicago Open
Ramos conquered first place at the IBJJF Chicago Open Championship in 2010 in the absolute weight category.
CBJJ Brazilian Nationals
Ramos won 3rd place at the CBJJ Brazilian Nationals in 2011.
Grapplers Quest Las Vegas
Ramos won the 1st position at the Grapplers Quest Las Vegas in 2011. It was one of the biggest career breaks of Davi Ramos. Ramos submitted 6 out of 7 opponents in the tournament. He tapped out big names in the sport, Jeff Monson and Joao Assis.

It was at Atos Headquarters, that Davi Ramos was awarded his 4th-Degree BJJ Black Belt by Andre Galvao.
Absolute Championship Akhmat
In June 2022, Davi Ramos signed with ACA and competed in the ACA Lightweight Grand Prix. His fight was against Artem Reznikov at ACA 140 on June 17, 2022. He lost the fight via unanimous decision.
